Welcome back and today we at Heartfelt Creations are celebrating the release of the Burst of Spring Collection featuring beautiful pansies!
Celebrate the highly anticipated arrival of the upcoming spring season with the new Burst of Spring Collection from Heartfelt Creations! A favorite among flower enthusiasts, the delicate pansy flower is often one of the first florets to be added to the freshly worked soil as the glorious garden season arrives. The soft, velvety petals of these cheerful blossoms always invite a quick caress while being transplanted near the front of the garden bed, where they are sure to be admired by all! Awaken your senses dulled from the winter season with an enchanting and deeply hued decorative paper collection filled with sweet and amiable pansy flowers, along with whimsical fluttering butterflies! Beautiful blues, happy yellows and deep purples set the tone for charming pansy clusters and bouquets encompassed in finely illustrated details from lace like accents to intricate brocades! A wonderful compilation of beautifully detailed cling stamp sets and coordinating dies bring an assortment of sprightly pansy floral sprays, perky arrangements, as well as elegant pansy frames, perfect for adding a cheerful springtime feel to all of your handmade greeting cards, layouts and altered art pieces. The coordinating pansy flower stamp, die, and flower shaping mold come together to create several differing sized pansy flowers ideal for creating your very own dimensional pansy bouquets as realistic as those found in the flower bed! So, join together with us in craft rooms everywhere…before the frost is out of the ground and gardening season arrives…as we anticipate and create our very own version of the appearance of spring with the Burst of Spring Collection!

Instructions: Click here to view a large photo of this project. Die cut 4 box dies from the HCD1-7163 A Gift of Love Box set out of the Wisteria cardstock, trim the top off and the top tag and assemble three sides together. Cut a piece of dry oasis to fit the box and insert in the box before completing assembling the box. Glue the oasis to the base of the box as you are gluing the base of the box. Die cut the patterned paper using the dies from the HCD1-7163 A Gift of Love Box set and adhere to the box. Cut the patterned zip strip from the paper collection and trim to 1 3/4″ and adhere to the top of the box with foam tape. Add Nuvo glitter to the patterned paper with Dries Clear glue.
Stamp the flower images from the HCPC-3862 Cherry Pansy Stamp set in Perfect Plumeria and Pretty Petunia on Iris cardstock. Colour the dark purple flowers with the Purple Hydrangea inks and the dark area with Perfect Plumeria with a Fantastix pen. Colour the light purple flowers with Pretty Petunia and colour the dark area with Pretty Petunia with a Fantastix pen. Die cut using the coordinating die and colour the dark purple flowers on the back with Purple Hydrangea ink and the light purple flowers on the back with Pretty Petunia ink. Shape using the coordinating mold and assemble when dry. Add Crystal Clear glitter to the flowers with Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge and pierce the centres with a piercing tool. Add the pastel bead stamens – twist three stamens together for the large flowers and a single stamen for the small flowers and glue into place. Colour the single stamens wires with Leaf Green ink and wrap green floral tape around the larger flower stems with three stamens.
Stamp the leaf images from the HCPC-3862 Cherry Pansy Stamp set in Library Green ink on Iris cardstock. Colour with Leaf Green and Olive inks and die cut with the coordinating dies. Colour the backs with Leaf Green ink. Shape using the coordinating molds and add Crystal Clear glitter to the leaves with Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge. Add two sets of large leaves to the top of the front of the box and the others to the flowers with a hot glue gun. Add the flowers in the box to finish.
